Interlock (Pasco) pavers in the UAE are sold by the square metre, and the price per m² depends on five factors: thickness, colour, quantity, delivery distance and VAT. This guide explains each factor so that quotations can be compared correctly and the right information is provided when requesting a price.
1. Thickness
8 cm pavers contain about one third more concrete than 6 cm pavers and therefore cost more per m². Use 6 cm for walkways and villa driveways, and 8 cm wherever trucks will drive. See our guide on choosing the thickness.
2. Colour
Grey is the base colour and the most economical. Pigmented colours (dark grey, black, red, brown, white, beige, yellow and orange) cost slightly more because of the pigment, and white and some light colours are the most expensive. Combining two or three colours in one design is priced per colour; there is no additional charge for the pattern itself.
3. Quantity
Larger orders receive a better price per m² and, above a certain quantity, free delivery. At Pasco the minimum order is 50 m²; delivery is free from 350 m² for 6 cm and from 300 m² for 8 cm. It is advisable to order the whole project at once rather than in stages, and to add 3–5 % for cutting and wastage.
4. Delivery distance
Pavers are heavy: one square metre of 6 cm Interlock (Pasco) weighs approximately 135 kg, so transport forms a real part of the cost. Our factory is located in Umm Al Quwain and we deliver throughout the UAE. Below the free-delivery quantity, the charge depends on the emirate and on site access; the truck must be able to reach the site, otherwise the load is unloaded at the nearest accessible point.
5. VAT
Our prices are quoted per m² excluding VAT; UAE VAT of 5 % is added on the invoice. When comparing quotations, check whether the other price includes VAT, delivery and laying.
Material only, or supply and laying?
Most prices published online are for material only. Laying is priced separately per m² and depends on the base work required. Pasco can undertake the whole project: the factory supplies the pavers, our sister company Pasco Almadina carries out the laying as our subcontractor, and the factory remains your single point of contact.
How to obtain an accurate quotation
- Measure the area in m² and add 3–5 % for cutting.
- Decide on the thickness (6 or 8 cm) and the size.
- Select the colours or a design code from Pasco Studio.
- State the delivery location and whether a truck can reach the site.
- State whether laying is required as well.

Because the price per m² varies with colour, thickness, quantity and delivery location. Send us these four details and you will receive a written quotation the same day.
Is buying directly from the factory cheaper than buying from a trader?
Usually yes, because there is no intermediary margin; you also obtain the production date and a single colour batch for the whole project.
Is there a charge for samples?
Please ask us; small colour samples can be collected from the factory in Umm Al Quwain.
